Playing a test is pretty irrelevant since the ODI format is by far the most popular version of the game in India. India are the driving force behind the increasingly busy schedule of ODI tournaments around the world.

And Brett Lee is the best 1-day bowler in the world.

No, but Gilly and Punter were definitely working on getting their toes into the commentary box last night !

20/20 is also better than watching re-runs of "Walker, Texas Ranger" and "Hunter", the usual fare at this time of year.

First his friendship with Alan Jones, now this. Now consider that Lee has never played a Test in India and this is truly astonishing. At least he's not trying to jam a toe into the over-full commentary box.

What Geoff said. Cricketers always participate in marketing campaigns in India that never make it over here. It's ridiculously good money for them and since they don't have to put it on Australian TV they don't suffer too much embarassment.

I bet Brett Lee is a lot prouder of this song than he is of his first hit "Can't Bowl, Can't Throw".

And besides, he was asked to make this video by Asha (who is apparently a legend in India).

Actually that's a very good voice, shame about the material. Reminds me of an Indian version of Stock, Aitken & Waterman. If soap actors go on to become pop stars why not cricketers? (And he is a much better singer than Jason Donovan).

I've listened to it. Twice. The Indian lady can really sing - if you like Indian music, that is. It always sounds a bit off-key to me. Lee can hold a tune - as Geoff says - but there is still something very odd about it. Better than the Minogue/Donovan effort, because one of the parties can actually sing.

I think I'd rather face Brett Lee's chin music than listen to this song. On a comparative basis is it better of worse than the Neighbours Jason Donovan/Kylie Minogue duet? Now that was something hideous that reflects all the horrors of adolescence. Mind you it looks like the Lees have already commited other aural atrocities (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Six_&_Out) - if I recall one of the songs was based on Shane Warne's famous "Can't Bowl, Can't Throw" description of a Queensland seamer Muller, who seems to have disappeared into obscurity.
