For those who are fans of his work (I am), it’s my sad duty to report (via Club Troppo) that Andrew Leigh has accepted Leviathan’s inducements and is heading off to work for Treasury for a while. Among other things, he has to can his blog (or at least put it in cold storage) for the duration. I hope he comes back at some point!
On an unrelated matter, we’d like to thank regular commenter fatfingers for his generous donation – we’re very pleased you enjoy our efforts. We’ve only been ‘live’ at this address since May 8, and we’re both very happy with how the blog is turning out so far.

I get so much out of blogs – intellectual stimulation, laughs, a chance to vent, exposure to ideas weird and wonderful, the opportunity to construct lavish insults – that I feel it is only right that I give something back.
And it’s nice to be acknowledged. If only every blog that got donations did the same!
