I agree with Iain that a mixture of light and shade is good – some serious posts, some not so serious. And I like a variety of viewpoints – I think teaming up here at Skepticlawyer has put a bit of vim and vigour back into my blogging because of the varied perspectives of SL and I, and the commentators.

A good blog is challenging and updated a lot. Single person blogs should update at least once per day and multiple person blogs should update more often. Thoughts on Freedom doesn’t update often enough to be the best libertarian blog. (sorry).
