I don't want an epidural anyway, because I had a bad experience with a spinal block when I was a kid having a leg operation...I had bad side effects. Needless to say, that didn't happen with the next two! I did try gas but it made me think men were coming in on the roof, so that was the end of that. They were about to give me an epidural when they took and look and shouted "Push!"
