Given the format of this is like those cheesy “inspirational” posters in corporate offices, you might enjoy the twist of demotivators. It’d be fun to have the “achievement” , “change”, “ambition”, “consistency” etc ones put quietly up on a wall and see how long it takes for someone to read the fine print. And one is on-topic for a recent thread: “Possibilities” (With focus, dedication and steroids, men can achieve impossible dreams. Like breaking a world record. Or growing their own breasts. )

I once had the idea of doing a series of stories about great action heroes/villains in their off moments. Darth Vader feeling dull and depressed while working on excel spreadsheets, for instance. Or James Bond annoying the first-class stewardesses on a long distance flight. Or Indiana Jones ogling porn magazines in his office at College and plotting minor bureaucratic fights with his colleague in the office across from him. I expect there’s a whole genre of fan fiction devoted to this sort of stuff.

There’s a whole genre of these. For instance, depending on the source, the original Death Star had something like half a million people on board, many of whom were civilians, most of whom were just average schmoes who thought the Empire was better that civil war. Oh well.
