RDM: Iron Rations

By DeusExMacintosh

Shadow Commons leader Alan Duncan has apologised “unreservedly” after he was secretly filmed complaining about MPs’ pay and expenses.

The Tory MP was heard to say MPs were being treated badly after the expenses scandal and “have to live on rations”.

Mr Duncan said the remarks, made to film maker Heydon Prowse of Don’t Panic magazine, were meant as a joke. But he added: “The last thing people want to hear is an MP whingeing about his pay and conditions.”

He told BBC News: “It is a huge honour to be an MP and my remarks, although meant in jest, were completely uncalled for. I apologise for them unreservedly.”

Interesting how spoilt people get isn’t it?
‘Oh it was just a joke’ – the magic phrase. ‘Sorry’ the magic word. Gets you out of anything.

You mean the ones with the rounds of mozzarella on top with a single basil leaf on each? No, they don’t do those anymore. Used to be my favourite too…

They still do a fine line in “food porn” though.

I did a really fun short film/video art thingy once featuring a friend of mine who’d recently escaped the clutches of the fashion model racket. She was required to stuff herself.

It is porn y’know. I mean really. Prospectice culture bots go to Uni and do courses like Phallic Symbol 101 so we know how to subliminally connect everything to sex.

We’re all going to Hell. 🙁
