I’ve just bewailed the fact that being a lawyer makes it hard to relate to people sometimes: let’s illustrate it by posting some equity law jokes which amused me. Tee hee! (What, I’m the only one laughing? Oh, never mind.)

    I’m laughing and I don’t even know what they mean. Goodness, if I understood equity law I’d probably be dead of laughter right about now.

    I’m trying to work out how one can breach fiduciary duty and still have clean hands. Haven’t done any equity for a while, and it shows…

    The only joke on the subject I recall was in our English text book at primary school; an epitaph on the grave of a lawyer:
    “Here lies John Brown, he lies still.”
